Welcome to the Queer Volleyball League
Great to see you’re interested in the upcoming season.
Since 1992, the Queer Volleyball League has brought together volleyball enthusiasts from the queer community. Over more than three decades, a small league has grown into a vibrant community where athletic competition, fair play, and diversity naturally belong together.
Whether you already play together as a team or have just recently formed—we look forward to welcoming you in the 2027 season.

You already play in the Queer Volleyball League and would like to register or unregister your team for 2027?
ALL GENDER*
The All Gender division is open to teams with players of all genders. It offers a diverse and inclusive competition where fair play, community, and the joy of volleyball are central.
At a Glance
🏐 Minimum age: 16 years
🏐 Net height: 2.43 m
🏐 Eligible: Players of all genders
FLINTA*
The FLINTA* division is for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender individuals. It creates a safe space for athletic competition, mutual support, and a strong community.
At a Glance
🏐 Minimum age: 16 years
🏐 Net height: 2.24 m
🏐 Eligible: FLINTA* individuals (cis men are not eligible)
SENIOR*
The Senior division is for experienced volleyball players aged 40 and over. The focus here is on athletic ambition, fair play, and the shared joy of volleyball.

🏐 Net height: 2.35 m
🏐 Eligible: Players of all genders
Info Meetings for interested teams
You’d like to learn more about the Queer Volleyball League or are planning to participate in a season with your team for the first time?
Then we warmly invite you to one of our two digital info meetings. Together we’ll give you an insight into the Queer Volleyball League, the structure of the 2027 season, and the registration process.
After a brief welcome together, we’ll split into a German-speaking and an English-speaking group. This way we can answer your questions in the language that works best for you.
