Deadlines in the new season
Each season includes several important deadlines that clearly structure the team registration process. These steps have proven effective over the years and ensure a smooth process. In the following table, you will find a clear overview of all relevant dates that you should note for a good start to the season:
October 11, 2025
This is the final deadline for the regular submission of motions for the Delegates Meeting. This also includes applications for upgrades for new registrations. If you have any questions about motions or their content, please feel free to contact us at any time. Please send your final motions to: dv[at]queerleague.de
October 25, 2025
On this day, invitations to the general assembly, our Delegates Meeting, will be sent out. With the invitation, you will receive an initial agenda and all submitted motions, so you can prepare for the meeting in advance.
October 31, 2025
Deadline for Team-Registration! By this date, your notifications must have been received by the board so that they can be prepared for the Delegates Meeting. Particularly important are your current contact information and the indication of who will represent your team at the DM. This task can either be taken on by someone from your team or another person to whom you transfer (delegate) your vote within the association.
November 22, 2025
Finally, the time has come: Our Delegates Meeting will take place in Düsseldorf!
This year, two board members are up for re-election, and a new position is to be created to further strengthen the long-term stability of the league.
December 1, 2025
Start of the registration period for your players! From this date, all players can register via our online form and thus officially become members of our association for the upcoming season.
December 31, 2025
The deadline for player registration runs until the end of the year. The form, which will be activated after the Delegates Meeting, must be completed by all players by this date. This ensures that all necessary data is available, your teams consist of at least six people, and are thus fully eligible to start the new season.
January 31, 2026
By the end of January, you must transfer the participation fees and, if applicable, the deposit for your players. Only with timely receipt of payment will your team gain full eligibility to play for the upcoming season.
